2024 Copa Rayados East Coast information for participating teams
 

REMINDERS BELOW:  

ALL TEAMS MUST FOLLOW THE Online Team Check in instructions and are required to check in online.  If teams do not check in online, as posted, they will be required to check in at tournament headquarters on Friday August 23rd (the first day of the tournament) In person check in will only be at both facilities - Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park. Located at the concession building between fields 6/7 and 5. Philip A Bolen Memorial Park located in middle of park by Fields 13/15 and 14/16. Teams will not be eligible to play without a stamp approved roster from check in. 

Traveling Teams paying the surcharge: For teams that opted out from our hotel housing system - You are required to fill out our hotel survey so we can track this information and make the hotel experience better next year.   SURVEY

 

 Deadline to upload all documents: Sunday, August 12th at Midnight

 

You will upload documents (ideally PDF's but jpg's are acceptable) into GOTSport 

How to - Upload Instructions

Required Documents for E-Check in:

A) For NON MLS NEXT TEAMS Official State Roster / or/ US Club Soccer Roster /or National organization roster (if other) : with all players that will be playing on the roster - with uniform numbers on the rosters 

ONLY FOR MLS NEXT TEAM ROSTERS - You will need to enter all of your players into GOTSPORT with headshot photos and jersey numbers. Once this is completed you will be able to generate a tournament roster. (NOTE: A screenshot of the KITMAN Labs Roster will be used as player cards to verify eligability.) NOTE:  Guest players - can be written in on the rosters:  all players need to have uniform numbers on the  rosters.  Guest players must have player card, medical release, and guest player form from your state association if required.

B)  Medical Release Team Form (All players and staff sign) -Click the link ( HERE )

C) Player ID cards- from a national/ state soccer governing body – such as USSSA, USYS State Associations, SAY Soccer, and US Club Soccer.  (NOTE: MLS NEXT teams are not required to have player cards per MLS Next policies but should have the player photo on the roster in lieu of the card and the Kitman Labs roster screenshot uploaded for proof of eligibility)   

D) Code of Conduct Team Form – Only the Staff needs to sign – ( HERE)

E) For teams outside of Virginia:  Permission to travel per your national association policies if required. (note: US Club Soccer and USSAA rostered teams do not need permission to travel forms per their national association rules).  

 

Teams will receive a stamped approved roster in return which they will need to print copies for the amount of matches they have and bring to all matches. This will be emailed to the listed PRIMARY CONTACT on the GotSport tournament team registration- if this needs to be a different person, please update your GotSport application information. 

 

Game Procedures:  Teams will be responsible for having all rosters/ player cards/ medical releases.  Team will provide a stamped approved tournament roster to the game officials of each game in addition to the player/ coach cards if asked. Teams must be at the fields with all documents a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the matches.

Parking: Is free at all facilities.  

Rules:  Rules are posted on the website - click HERE  NOTE: for this event (Copa Rayados East Coast) we do allow bio band players since they are friendlies. This does not apply for any of our other tournaments.

Tournament Headquarters:  This is at Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park at the concession building between fields “6/7” and “5” on the field map. Philip A Bolen Memorial Park located in the middle of the park by Fields 13/15 and 14/16.
