The Simulador Profesional is the opportunity to live the footballer’s experience in a camp with housing, meals, transportation, training, education, competition with coaching staffs with LigaMX Fuerzas Basicas and professional experience from Mexico. 

We have the training experience of developing Academy players to the professional levels.  La Simulador will replicate and expose players during the week and will be the basis for future development. 

We will integrate the players into the appropriate age group and team settings for training and competition.  All the sporting activities will be at the hosting facilities of Universidad de Guadalajara and the Leones Negros training facilities.  Or, we will visit the professional academy facilities at both ATLAS and CHIVAS GUADALAJARA for some activities.

 

 

Core Components:

  • Training as a LigaMX Fuerzas Basicas player
  • Exposure to Fuerzas Basicas coaches
  • Exposure to competition with Fuerzas Basicas players
  • Observations of U17, U20, LigaMX matches (based on schedules of the week)
  • Evaluations from staff and clubs
  • Scouting opportunities from clubs
  • Evaluation and scouting opportunities with FEDERATION PROGRAM
  • Cultural opportunities in Guadalajara
  • Meetings /presentations on:
    • Fuerzas Basicas training and overview
    • Physical training
    • Nutrition
    • Player Pathway / CD jugador program

 

A maximum of 48 players per week will be accepted to maintain the quality of programming and staff to player ratio of less than 10 to 1:

Week 1: March 9-15

Week 2: March 16-22

Week 3: March 30-April 5

Week 4: April 13-April 19

Week 5: July 6-12  

Week 6: July 13-19

 

Director of Program:

Michael Balaban:  Michael is a former professional player, originally from Romania.  His professional experience spanned Romania, Portugal, and Spain.  He’s been directing tours and training programs in Mexico for the past 20 years and will oversee all aspects of the Simulador program.  He’s fluent in English, Spanish, Portugeese, and Romanian. 

 

Senior Staff:

              Beto Marizcal:  Beto’s a former professional player, with the majority of his time with Atlas, as well as the Mexican National Team.  He’s completed his coaching and technical licenses through the FMF.  He was a director with the Escuela del Barcelona in Mexico and most recently coaching in the Fuerzas Basicas program on Santos Laguna and their U20 team. 

              Carlos “Charly” Mendoza is currently working in the Mexican Futbol Federation’s “Comisión del Jugador” program in Guadalajara, Mexico.  He has a physical education degree from U de Guadalajara as well as the Technical Director’s diploma (ENDIT).  His coaching experience includes working with:  Chivas Guadalajara, Pachuca, 3rd Division Cocula, and LigaAscenso UDG Leones Negros.  

                             What is the CD Jugador Program?

The CD Jugador program is for professional Futbol players that are currently out of contract, or “free agents”, that had previously been contracted with LigaMX, LigaAscenso, or 2nd Division professional clubs.   It is operated under the Mexican Futbol Federation (FMF).  The players are trained and maintain their physical and technical levels of play in these programs while being showcased to pro clubs for professional opportunities.  There’s a selection team in both Guadalajara and Mexico City.  These selections have also competed in showcase international tournaments. 

 

Additional staff will include coaches from the Fuerzas Basicas programs of:

Chivas Guadalajara

Leones Negros

Atlas

 

Scouting Opportunities: All Simulador players will have the opportunity to be observed and scouted by the area pro clubs and staffs in Guadalajara.  In addition, Charly Mendoza, as part of the CD Jugador program will evaluate players and give feedback on projections of players.  

 

Training Environment:  The professional Academy training environment will be experience through all the training sessions with staffing from the Simulador staff and Academy coaches from the professional clubs. 

 

Match play opportunities: We will create teams to compete in friendly matches against the youth teams from Chivas Guadalajara, Atlas, and Leones Negros. 

 

Educational presentations: Throughout the week, we will utilize experts in specialized areas to give additional information on:

  • Fuerzas Basicas training and overview
  • Physical training
  • Nutrition
  • Player Pathway / CD jugador program

 

 

Pro Matches: We will attend matches, depending on the schedules and availability.  The priority will be attending LigaMX pro matches and likely either a match with Chivas Guadalajara or Atlas will be available.  Also, important for the players exposure to the professional environment are matches at the Under 17 and Under 20 levels which we will look to attend as well.  

 

Player Assessments:  All players in the Simulador program will be given composite assessment evaluations from the Simulador staff, scouts from pro clubs, and Charly Mendoza of the CD Jugador program.

 

Cost for 1 week Simulador Program:  $1195 / 2 weeks $1995

              Costs include:

                             Training Gear (2 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of socks)

                             All soccer components

                             Local transportation in Guadalajara include airport transfers

                             All meals and Hotel accommodations (3 players to a room)

                             Athletic Trainer (Medical support) during activities

              Costs do not include:

                             Travel to and from Guadalajara

                             Travel/ Medical insurance

Carlos “Charly” Mendoza

  • Selectivo: Es una iniciativa realizada en Guadalajara y la Ciudad de México para mantener la condición física y técnica de los futbolistas sin contrato que ya han formado parte de la Liga MX, Ascenso MX y Segunda División. Por medio de ella se realizan entrenamientos, trabajo de pretemporada y partidos amistosos encaminados a encontrarles si es posible alguna oportunidad laboral. En cada ciudad existe un cuerpo técnico de 5 integrantes dirigido por Melvin Brown en Guadalajara y Héctor Herrera en la Ciudad de México. Estos representativos ya han tenido participación en 2 torneos internacionales FIFPro América.

Facilities:  Resort Primavera, which is located at Km 24 of Carretera Libre a Nogales, Zapopan Jalisco, México, which provides a relaxing and comfortable environment.

 

The Resort has comfortable facilities and rooms, with 96 rooms, 24 single rooms and 72 double rooms.

 

One of the facilities in these Resort is the pool and outdoor areas, where the nice weather can be enjoyed, the average temperature in Guadalajara is around 12ºC min to 27ºC max.   Beautiful year-round sun that's slightly temperate due to slight altitude.  

 

The training areas of Club Deportivo Universidad de Guadalajara are among the best in Mexico, which is located at Km 24 de la Carretera Libre a Nogales, Zapopan Jalisco, México.

The complex provides several facilities, which can help training session to become more complete, these are:
