Scouts/ Visors identify 25 players at the Copa Rayados

Scouts from national teams, pro clubs, and universities on hand!

CF Monterrey Rayados used the 2013 Copa Rayados Internacional in San Antonio as a scouting opportunity to identify targets for trials and professional contracts.  Scouts were seen at every match throughout the tournament and assessed talent from both existing Rayados programs in the USA and Mexico as well as scouting the considerable talent at the tournament.

Tremendous talent was on display in all the age divisions and a total of 25 players were identified for future trials at the club.  These official trails come with no expenses to the players and families and is not a money making arm of the club.  Normally scouts will identify anywhere from 2-10 players for possible trials at major tournaments across the USA.  However, with the combination of talent as well as several teams having not been scouted before, the largest selection of identified players Rayados has scouted at one event had been chosen.

In addition, scouts from US Soccer were on hand looking for prospects for the US National teams' program as well as over 30 university coaches for potential scholarship athletes.
